even when it's hard.

For the night after a slip.
For anyone who's tried before.
The Safari porn blocker is free forever. No account, no tracking, no one watching.
THE PRODUCT IDEA, IN ONE SECTION
An urge is a wave.
It rises, crests, falls — usually inside ninety seconds. You don't have to act on it for it to pass. Try the 90-second ritual →
"That was ninety seconds. The urge passed without you doing anything."
— from the first lessons of THE FIRST 14 DAYS

Straight, not soft.
You're not weak. You're outgunned. There are thousands of engineers on the other side of that screen and one of you. Stop calling it a willpower failure.
Every algorithm you scroll is a slot machine that learned your face. You don't have a discipline problem. You're in a rigged casino that never closes.
Porn is ambition anesthesia. You feel the reward without earning it, so you stop reaching for the real thing.
You're not depressed. You're depleted. There's a difference, and one of them has a cause you can name.
Every time you don't, you're not losing something. You're casting a vote for who you're turning into.
The urge is loudest right before it dies. You quit one breath before it would have passed on its own.
The craving isn't hunger. It's a habit wearing hunger's face. Look at it long enough and it gets embarrassed and leaves.
One fall is an event. A month of shame is a lifestyle. Choose which one it becomes.
No one is coming to take the phone out of your hand. That's the bad news and the only good news.
The version of you that you keep postponing is built at 11pm, in the exact moment you think doesn't count.
It's free because you're the product. The most profitable business model on earth is a man who thinks his craving is his own idea.
The industry doesn't want your money. It wants your attention, your drive, and your best years. It's getting all three for free.
You wonder why nothing excites you anymore. You spent the excitement in private, on nothing, before noon.
Discipline isn't doing it forever. It's becoming someone who's no longer interested. Resistance is the beginner's level.
Stop trying to quit. Start becoming someone it can't reach.
It's never about sex. It's about the feeling you're running from. The screen is just the nearest exit.
A wave feels like the ocean until it breaks. Ninety seconds later you're still standing, wondering what the panic was about.
Shame is the drug's best salesman. It makes you feel worthless, and worthless men reach for the exit again.
You already know what to do. You just wanted permission to keep not doing it. Denied.
You decided. That's the whole thing.
They A/B tested your dopamine for twenty years. Of course you lost. The miracle is that you're finally choosing not to play.
It doesn't steal your time. It steals your edge. You wake up tired of a life you haven't lived yet.
The man who chases a screen has no fire left to chase a life. Pick which hunt you want to win.
You don't have an addiction to beat. You have a man to become, and he doesn't want it in the first place.
Weak men are managed by their urges. Strong men are curious about them, then unbothered.
“Just once” is the oldest lie you tell yourself, and you fall for it every time because it's whispered in your own voice.
The slip didn't set you back. The week you spent hating yourself for it did.
You're not back to zero. You're back to day one with everything you learned. That's higher ground, not the same hole.
Freedom isn't never wanting it. Freedom is wanting it and watching yourself not move.

Recently on a bad night I went into iPhone Settings to turn the blocker off. The switch was grey. My phone would not let me touch it. I was angry for about a minute. Then I just went to bed. Woke up so thankful.
I tried to turn everything off but the app said to cooldown and you wait one hour first. I didn't last ten minutes. That cooldown one hour saved my streak. Maybe more than once.
The combination of the progress path and AI summary is particularly motivating.
Hate to admit but the courses are working.
It's the first one I have downloaded that held me accountable.
Helps me focus on my work and blocks all that stuff. Super simple and it actually works.
Loved the app. Truly helped me learn what I needed. A must try for anyone trying to quit.
I used to watch a lot of porn. This app is very helpful.
The courses are really helpful.

Common questions
Asked & answered.
Is the Safari blocker free?
Yes. The Safari content blocker is free forever — no in-app purchase needed to enable it. Premium adds the urge ritual, recovery timeline, courses, and practice rituals. The blocker stays free.
Does Escape need an account?
No. There's no sign-up, no email, no password. Your streak, journal entries, and check-ins live on your device. Nothing leaves your phone.
What does the blocker block?
Two layers, on iPhone and iPad. Websites: 40,000+ known adult sites in Safari (free), plus any custom sites you add (premium). Uses Apple's WebKit content-blocker API. Apps: any iOS app you choose — TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, X, anything (premium). App blocking is part of the premium tier.
Can it block social media apps like TikTok and Instagram?
Yes. App blocking lets you pick any iOS apps you want shut off — the most common picks are TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, X, Reddit, YouTube — but the picker shows your whole device, so the choice is yours. When you tap a blocked app, you get Escape's recovery screen instead of the feed. Requires the premium tier.
What does premium cost?
The premium tier's pricing lives in the App Store, where it can update without the website needing a redeploy. Open the App Store listing for the current monthly and annual options. Cancel anytime in iOS Settings.
Does Escape work on iPad and Mac?
Yes. The app is universal, so one purchase covers iPhone, iPad, and Mac through Apple's universal purchase. The Safari blocker is free on each.
Does Escape track my browsing?
No. The Safari content-blocker API is one-way: Escape hands Safari a list of domains, and Safari decides what to block. Escape never sees the URLs you visit.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Escape. Access continues until the current period ends.
